How to prepare for photo shoot and photo posing

In order to really prepare well for a photo shoot, I recommend talking to the photographer about how you see the outcome of the photo shoot. For this there are references with poses and images, for example in pinterest. Or take a couple of ideas from other photographers as an example. The venue and dress code should also be stipulated. You should also talk to the photographer at the makeup and hair application location. Since makeup is a very important aspect of many shoots and the subsequent processing of photos.

Photo posing

Many people have the feeling that pulling in your stomach and aligning your back is unnatural, but this is not the case. It looks very good in the photos themselves, but it should be done without fanaticism.

There is such a thing as a foot-on-foot pose. Often used by models during commercial photo shoots. We’re just shuffling from foot to foot in one place. Also, I always advise to involve accessories and clothing during the shoot. We can interestingly use a scarf while moving or a skirt. You can also use running and smiling. And you can get up to five cool photos in that little bit of mileage. We can also look from behind. You can also get some great shots if you just laugh at the camera. Moreover, it looks natural if we fix our hair on camera. You can walk to and from the photographer without taking your eyes off the camera. Or looking at some selected object.

A few more recommendations from me

-If you want to convey your femininity, stretch your arms and legs. Make it a little fake because the camera doesn’t see it, but you do!

-Hand on the arm. Carefully move one hand to the other. Don’t tense your arms, it should look feminine and easy.

-Hands in a free position. We do not keep them in a string. They are in motion.

-Don’t forget that there are stable classical poses where you need to freeze and stand or sit. But this is already on location, the model and the photographer look at what is more relevant.

-We don’t press the chin to the neck. We always keep it slightly raised. Especially during active movement.
